Alex is one perfect blank canvass. She didn’t need a lot of makeup because her face was flawless! The second picture is my favorite! I’m a fan of Linda Hallberg and since it was my first collaboration with other talented professionals, I had no idea what looks to show case for the shoot so I made some research and decided to feature my love for Linda. Her cut-eyeliner technique was divine!

The flower crown became a phenomenon in a lot of shoots that time so we did something of our own too. I adored Patrene when the shoot started. She looked like she was dancing when she poses. So amazing! I made another Linda Hallberg inspiration, the grudge look. I don’t know if it suited with the flower crown but definitely Patrene gave it a lot of justice. Oh… and she’s seventeen. Just wow!

One of the things I love working in makeup is getting to know other artists in the industry. There are different kinds of makeup artist based on personality and attitude but the exciting part is not only to learn from them but earning a new friend to treasure. I met Aisa at a pole dancing event by PROPS Cosmetics. We were nervous since it was our first exposure and the nerves brought us closer together. She invited me to do this shoot with her to build our portfolio. She’s kind-hearted, humble and talented wedding makeup artist. She's also a good team player and my cheerleader when I feel down and low. We worked and studied together for how many times now and she became one of my closest friends post-OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) life where you start life all over again and most of your friends are far from where you are now.
